IESC Announces David Rockefeller Spirit of Service Award Winner – Don Layton
The David Rockefeller Spirit of Service Award recognizes outstanding and continuing contributions to IESC. Established in 1992, the award is named for American business leader David Rockefeller, who helped found IESC. The “Spirit of Service Award” honors those who, through superior and sustained performance, dedication, and commitment, work to improve the lives of others.
For 2019, IESC recognized Don Layton for his longstanding contributions to IESC and for his commitment to our mission. He has served as an IESC Board Director since 2004 and in recent years has provided his excellent counsel as Chair of the Finance and Pension Committee. Don has embodied David Rockefeller’s spirit of service throughout his longstanding service to IESC, and via the significant ongoing contributions that he has made to the betterment of this organization. Layton has more than 40 years of experience in financial services and as a corporate leader, as well as considerable experience serving as a board member for financial services firms and non-profit organizations. He has provided invaluable guidance to IESC related to its pension, charitable fundraising, and other strategic initiatives. Don’s contributions and commitment to IESC are appreciated and it is an honor to recognize him as our 2019 David Rockefeller Spirit of Service award recipient.
