Washington, D.C. – IESC is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the five year Capacity Building of Cambodia’s Local Organizations Program (CBCLO), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under a Cooperative Agreement with the Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA).
CBCLO aims to build the institutional capacity of Cambodian NGOs ‘ part of the broader USAID Forward Initiative that works to enhance USAID’s ability to partner with and fund local NGOs around the world. To this end, CBCLO will work to strengthen the institutional capacity of local organizations in financial, administrative, procurement, and organizational management to effectively implement USAID-funded activities. This training and knowledge transfer will increase both the number and value of USAID awards to local organizations as well as ensure that these awards yield greater impact.
IESC is the lead implementer of the CBCLO Program, in partnership with Kanava International. CBCLO will have an office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
