Continuing Our Mission
Since 1964, IESC has empowered people and communities in 139 countries to improve their lives. Over the past decade alone, we have helped nearly 75,000 individuals secure new or better jobs and supported growing businesses in generating $1.1 billion in sales. Many of the countries we’ve worked with, such as Singapore, South Korea, Portugal, and the Czech Republic, have transformed from receiving foreign assistance to becoming self-reliant, high-income countries and key U.S. business partners.
Today, like countless other organizations, IESC is facing challenging times due to the termination of thousands of USAID awards. As a result, we are in the process of closing several programs that were making a meaningful impact by enhancing food security, improving farmer livelihoods, establishing trade linkages with U.S. businesses, increasing youth employment, and strengthening businesses throughout the economically developing world.
While this transition is difficult, our commitment to our mission remains unwavering. We will continue to implement our ongoing programs and pursue innovative ways to empower people to build better futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Thank you for supporting IESC’s vision of a world with economic opportunity for all.
