China Senior Experts Initiative

Summary

This initiative delivers consulting services from IESC’s highly skilled volunteer experts to enterprises, institutions, and government institutions in China. This initiative taps into senior-level American expertise to engage them internationally.

Activities And Approaches

This initiative follows in the American tradition of volunteerism, leverages U.S. market economy experience, and helps establish market linkages between the United States and China.

Under this initiative, our local partner in China, the China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, identifies Chinese clients and their needs. IESC then recruits the most qualified and appropriate volunteer experts, refines the scope of the assignment in partnership with the local client, and manages the assignment and logistics from beginning to end, including follow-up.

Results

~1100 NGO employees receive technical training
~70 organizations receive tailored assistance to improve financial and organizational management
