IESC Launches New Program in Sri Lanka

IESC is launching the Facilitating Economic Growth in Sri Lanka program, a 3-year USAID-funded program awarded through the Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) Leader with Associates Award. The IESC team will promote the economic revitalization of Sri Lanka's Eastern province by providing direct, targeted assistance to SMEs, agribusinesses, and related associations and NGOs, and their workforces. The IESC team will also provide capacity development at the local government level. Working with IESC will be subcontractors ACDI/VOCA, ICMA, and Land O'Lakes. Together the IESC-led team will foster increased private sector employment and business opportunities in the Eastern province of Sri Lanka.
